EXPERIENCE

The first eleven years of Curt’s career were as a CPA with the Rockford office of KPMG Peat Marwick, attaining the position of senior audit manager. In 1990 Curt left KPMG to join Jim Millikin as partners in Millikin, Kleckler & Co. which then merged with Don Benning’s firm, Benning and Gilbertson, PC in 1993. He was part of the Rockford office of Millikin Benning Kleckler & Kobischka, LLC which merged with Sikich LLP, a large CPA firm in July 2008. Curt left Sikich June 30, 2010 to become a partner in Benning Group, LLC.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Illinois College
• Certified Public Accountant since 1980

• He has served as Treasurer, President, or Board Member of a number of charitable and professional organizations in the Rockford area including: Riverfront Museum Park, Rockford Marlins Swim Club, Institute of Management Accountants – Rockford Chapter, The Literacy Council and the Rockford Art Museum.
